Florida Airports Gets Commercial Spaceport License
Thursday, 19 November 2009
Generally, not many airports in the country have a spaceport license, as clearly, not everyone has the luxury to travel to space. Nevertheless, it seems that the Florida airport has been granted a commercial spaceport license, whereby such license will allow the airport to be used by Virgin Galactic to ferry tourists to space. Of course, although such trips will cost $200,000 per seat, it’s still much cheaper when compared to the overall cost that is charged by other commercial space operators.

And when Virgin Galactic officially opens their door for space tourists, will you be the very first person to travel to space?
