Well Microsoft’s logo has been sticking around for the past 25 years, and it has hardly changed, as clearly, it is the company’s trademark logo. Everyone recognizes it as a flying window with several different colors on the frame – I’m sure anyone would identify it as Microsoft’s!

Well, right after 25 years of dominating the operating system market, it looks like Microsoft is ready for a change. Basically, Microsoft is looking to ‘modernize’ their Windows logo for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system, and it looks like the new logo is somewhat plan – 4 colorful square boxes placed neatly to form a square – that’s Microsoft’s idea of a new Windows logo. Critics mentioned that the new logo carries a new face that is bold and simple – I personally think it’s a half baked effort in redesigning the logo!
