Credit card mobile payments are surely heading on an upward trend, and many retailers are already enabling such payment services. Generally, Square is one of such payment gateways, and they are indeed raking in lucrative money from the business, as they charge a 2.75% fee for every transaction performed using their services. Of course, stores that are extremely successful would despise the 2.75% fee, as when accumulated, it’s a large sum of money.

It looks like Square has recently introduced a reduced monthly subscription fee for their services, in which the plan is perfect for stores that take less than $250,000 a year in Square payments. Also, if the store charges more than $400 per transaction, they are also eligible for the offer too, whereby they only pay a flat fee of $275 per month for Square’s services. Surely, the lowered monthly subscription would definitely be a huge bonuses for small businesses, don’t you think?
