Over the years, I have worked through numerous data centers, in which I primarily employ data centers for their colocation services. Judging by the fact that I offer various professional web services to my clients, it is imperative that the data center offers mission critical systems, which has the capability to handle extreme server load and they must also operate a rather comprehensive fail-safe system too. Based on my knowledge, San Diego is a data center hotspot, in which numerous reputable companies house their top-notch data centers at the respective region. Just perform a simple search online for San Diego data center, and you’ll discover several reputable companies offering their services in San Diego. Personally, I prefer employing a data center that utilizes best-of-breed server equipments, as these heavy duty equipments are able to handle tremendous workload on a daily basis. Also, the respective data center must be equipped with ample amount of bandwidth, as bandwidth is essential in ensuring smooth data transitions between systems. And just recently, I have been keeping myself busy shopping for the right San Diego collocation. Basically, I have several high performance server racks which I hope to collocate in the data center. These server racks must be housed in a data center that offers ample of cooling, as I have experienced numerous heating problems caused by inefficient cooling systems employed by smaller data centers. Also, the respective data center must employ an industry leading DDoS mitigation system, as such systems would protect my servers from being overloaded by DDoS attacks. But most importantly, the data center must provide dedicated customer support services, in which server inquiries and technical support must be addressed within an hour. Such a dedicated customer support service is definitely a huge bonus, as it would address my server concerns promptly, and it would also indirectly increase the server uptime too.
