In fact, fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal are depleting at an exponential rate, and such fuel isn’t replenishable as it would require millions of years to convert its biological components to fossil fuel. On the other hand, there have been numerous calls to diversify our energy dependency, in which these initiatives have produced various alternative energy-producing mechanisms, such as hydro-electricity, wind energy, and also solar energy. Apparently, leading renewable energy researchers have placed their bet that solar energy would be a dominant energy producing mechanism in the near future, as clearly, solar energy has tremendous potential in meeting our future energy needs.
