Game streaming services aren’t new, as there are countless of gaming companies which uses such technology to deliver their games to consumers. However, there is a game streaming service which is gaining unprecedented limelight lately, and it’s none other than Gaikai.
Basically, Gaikai received tremendous investments from two huge networks, namely Intel Capital and Limelight Networks. Also, it seems that the Gaikai’s servers will be powered by the 6-core Intel processors, as well as Intel’s speedy SSD drives as well. Limelight on the other hand, will be responsible in helping the company to spread the word on the game streaming service to the public.
Well we’ll be seeing more versatile games being distributed on the internet in the near future, don’t you think so?
