American Airline and Alliances to Boost JAL Support PDF Print E-mail

Japan Airline suffered one of its worst performances in history, whereby the company is near to filling for bankruptcy, and with over $4 billion dollars in debt entailing the company. Nevertheless, it also seems that the American Airline and other alliances in the oneworld alliance has pledge their support to keep JAL afloat, whereby these carriers will agree to pump as much as $1.4 billion dollars, and $2 billion in revenue to help JAL stay alive. On the other hand, Rival Delta Air Lines and its SkyTeam partners have also offered $1 billion in financial aid, whereby the sum will be inclusive of $500 million in cash.
