Amazon Kindle 3G Gets AT&T-sponsored Ad-supported Option PDF Print E-mail

Ads definitely can make your purchase cheaper, and when it comes to the Amazon Kindle 3G, it seems that the company is now offering an option, in which ads would be displayed in specific areas of your unit, and you’ll get to purchase the Amazon Kindle 3G cheaper at $139, down from the original price of $189 for the ad-free version.

Available as part of the Amazon Special Offers, the price that was quoted, includes the nifty 3G subscription too, in which won’t cost you a thing at the end of the process. Also, if you find that the 3G connectivity is just plain useless, then you can also opt for the ad-supported WiFi model that is available for purchase at an even lower price of $114. Personally, I would go without the ad-supported version, as clearly, the ads can be sometime very annoying indeed – paying $50 more shouldn’t be a big issue right? Still, $139 for an e-reader is a steal, don’t you think so?
